Financial assistance

Myriad has options for financial assistance

We understand healthcare costs can often generate stress. If you’re uninsured, have limited coverage or are experiencing a financial hardship, we have ways to help you access affordable genetic testing.

The majority of patients have no out-of-pocket costs for genetic testing. Others qualify for reduced costs based on their medical and financial circumstances. We also offer direct payment options for many of our tests, as well as flexible, interest-free payment plans.

Direct payment options

Patients whose insurance policy does not cover testing, are uninsured, or have a high deductible can choose to bypass insurance and directly pay a fixed price for testing. This choice must be made prior to running any Myriad test. Contact Myriad for more information.

Payment plans

Myriad offers interest-free payment plans starting at $15 per month. After receiving a bill, contact Myriad by web chat, phone or email to discuss personalized options.

  1. Due to regulatory limitations, people who carry federally funded health insurance such as Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and Medicare Advantage are not eligible for financial assistance. People with some types of Medicaid plans, including those with limited state-funded plans such as emergency-only coverage, or Medicaid in states that do not have coverage for Myriad testing, are eligible for the Myriad Financial Assistance Program; contact Myriad for details about your specific plan type.
