Devesh Pandya M.D.

Devesh Pandya is a partner with Oncology Consultants, Houston’s oldest and largest private practice group. Oncology Consultants has been serving the Houston community for over 40 years with 13 locations and 18 physicians. Pandya is a board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. He has practices in the Texas Medical Center as well as Sugar Land. He has clinical expertise in breast cancer, lung cancer, genitourinary cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, lymphomas, and multiple myeloma. He has received the Houstonia Top Doctors Award since 2014 as well as Texas Monthly Rising Star and Super Doctor since 2017. Pandya has presented research at annual meetings for AACR, ASCO, Breast Cancer Symposium, TSMO, ASH, and the International Hematologic Malignancies Conference. He collaborated with the National Cancer Institute on a health-related quality of life study in non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivors. 

Patricia Serna MHS, PA-C

Patricia Serna is a committed physician assistant with a heartfelt dedication to medical oncology and hematology. Her journey in healthcare has spanned over 22 years, with more than 15 years as a physician assistant, during which she has gained valuable insights and experience in gynecologic oncology, palliative medicine, and pain management. In her role as the virtual care clinic APP manager, Serna strives to enhance patient care by integrating innovative virtual platforms, always keeping patient needs at the forefront. Serna’s experience is enriched by her background as a veteran of the United States Air Force, where she gained practical skills in emergency medical care. She holds a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Duke University School of Medicine and a bachelor of arts in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Serna is a graduate of City of Hope’s Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment and obtained certified genetic risk assessment credentialing from the National Consortium of Breast Centers, which allows her to provide informed guidance to patients navigating complex healthcare decisions.
