Complete survey and quiz Hear from our speakers Tammy McKamie MSN, RN, ACGN, OCN Tammy McKamie is the Medical Science Liaison for the Gulf region at Myriad genetics. She began her career in nursing 44 years ago and 2003 Tammy was introduced to the field of genetics. She received credentialing as a Genetics Clinical Nurse (GCN) in Texas later advancing her credentials to Advanced Clinical Genetics Nurse (ACGN). She continues to stay abreast of the most up-to-date information in genetics as a long-time member of the International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG) and a board member of the Nurse Portfolio Credentialing Commission (NPCC). Ying Liu MD MPH Dr. Liu is a medical oncologist in the Gynecologic Medical Oncology service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC where she serves as the Lead of the Inherited GYN Cancer Program and has a dual appointment in the Clinical Genetics Service. Dr. Liu specializes in caring for patients with gynecologic cancers and provides counseling and genetic testing. Her research involves studying the genetic and genomic drivers of cancer and how they influence the development of disease and can be targeted by novel therapeutics in clinical trials. She has a special interest in using data to improve access to genetic testing for all patients with cancer.
